The Tri-Spin Flat Transit Base is the functional core of the Tri-Spin FS brewing system. Designed for the Tri-Spin FS Flat Transit Dripper, it introduces a simple but effective way to control flow: close for steeping, open for drawdown. Compact in form yet purposeful in use, it adds flexibility, control, and a more intentional rhythm to daily brewing.

More than a simple support, it functions as the control point of the brewing system, allowing the brewer to decide when water is held in the dripper and when it is released through the coffee bed. By turning the knob between closed and open positions, the base makes it possible to work with both immersion-style brewing and more continuous filter-style extraction.
More Range in Everyday Brewing
This switching function gives the brewer more freedom to shape the cup. With the flow closed, the coffee can steep for a longer contact time, encouraging a fuller and more saturated extraction. When the flow is opened, the brew shifts into a cleaner drawdown, closer to a more classic filter-style cup. In practice, this makes the Transit Base a useful tool for adjusting recipes, brew timing, and extraction style without needing to change the overall brewing setup.
Practical Construction, Clear Operation
The Transit Base is also designed with practicality in mind. According to the packaging, the upper and lower parts of the base can be detached and reattached through a magnetic connection, making assembly and handling more straightforward. The knob markings make operation easy to understand and repeat: “X” indicates close, while “O” indicates open. Compact in size and stable in form, the base brings a more deliberate and adaptable rhythm to daily flat-bottom brewing.

For orders placed outside of the European Union, the prices listed are exclusive of VAT. The Brexit Transition Period officially ended on December 31, 2020, resulting in new regulations governing sales between the United Kingdom and the European Union as of January 1, 2021. Returns
Within the EU, you can return any order* within 14 days (14-day cooling-off period) without providing a reason, and you will receive a full refund, inclusive of the shipping cost to an EU destination.
Beyond the initial 14 days, you may typically request a partial or potentially full refund. Our return policy spans 30 days, accounting for holidays. Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded in such cases after 14-day cooling-off period.
If 30 days have passed since your purchase, regrettably, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
*To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as received, including its original packaging.
The seller will cover the cost of return postage only if the item is damaged, faulty, or doesn't match the listing description.
For other reasons, the buyer is responsible for returning the product at their expense.
