Founded in 1996, DragonFly Design Centre 清庭設計 is a design-led brand built around the vision of founder and creative director Jeff Dayu Shi (石大宇). Rooted in contemporary design inspired by Chinese culture, the brand has developed a distinctive language that brings together craftsmanship, symbolism, and practical innovation across lifestyle and coffee objects alike.

DragonFly’s coffee line is especially known for its thoughtfully engineered manual brewing drippers. The CT62 Coffee Dripper, designed by Jeff Dayu Shi together with Jake Yuan Cheng Hu of Taster’s Coffee, features a 62-degree cone angle, a structured groove system, and a design intended to promote more stable flow, reduce clogging, and support even extraction. It uses standard V60 01/02 filter papers, making it approachable for both professionals and home brewers

The CT62 has been described as a dripper that combines cultural inspiration with functional brewing design, and DragonFly’s newer coffee pieces — including the rock ’n’ dew coffee server and Tri-Spin dripper series — were recognised by the German Design Award 2026 for their combination of aroma-focused design, extraction control, and user experience.
