Modern, fun, and artistic
With its bright colors and vertical grooves, this dripper assimilates traditional Japanese origami! Reflecting the traditional Japanese culture, this attractive ceramic dripper is made with the traditional Mino ware technique.
This dripper, blooms like a flower, is made up of 20 straight ribs. The deep and wide conical space in the dripper allows coffee powder to expand beautifully. The large hole at the bottom ensures a path for water to flow smoothly, reducing the chance of clogging and over extraction, allowing you to brew a clean and bright cup of coffee.

It’s a present :) don’t know jet.
I received the Navy origami dripper as a Christmas gift this year. Inside the box was a lovely hand written note from the Kohiraifu team, thanking us for supporting their business, and wishing us a merry Christmas. It was a lovely, personal touch. The dripper itself is fantastic, and I have been told the delivery was very quick into the UK. I would highly recommend both the dripper and Kohiraifu.
I bought this as a gift, so I have yet to open it. But I'm sure my friend is going to love it! Also, the customer service was incredible for this. I had a question and a request and the team got back to me very quickly and even offered to gift wrap it for me. When it came, there was also the nicest card. This kind of care is so thoughtful and appreciated and not something you'd get from a bigger retailer. I will be shopping here again!
I think this is my most preferred dripper. It can take both flat and conical filters. With conical filters it has plenty of air from the sides, so the flow is fast and the thermal impact is minimal. Did I mention it’s beautiful? A real joy to use. It’s great with both of the holders, the resin one is thick and durable and makes it even more stable. Love it
I bought the Origami Dripper after a friend told me about the good results he was getting from it. With a LWW EG1 grinder with SSP burrs I'm on the extreme end of what is possible and have always come back to the Hario V60-01 for pourover for best results. I sometimes use the Aeropress and Delter which give a much different brew but never liked the results from the Kalita Wave at home or in very good coffee bars. The Origami is the first dripper I tried in years (and I bought a lot of different ones) that's worth it for me. For the first time I find good use for my Kalita filters and get superb results. I still use the Hario 01 filters most as I find them giving the best results for the Nordic roasts (especially Tim Wendelboe) I use as they are super clean. The Origami flavour profile is somewhat less crisp compared to the plastic V60 which, dependend on the type of bean, is preferable. This dripper is going to stay and it looks really nice. The wooden tray had a really bad smell while brewing and Kohiraifu gave me perfect support and send me a new AS Resin tray which I really like. Origami seemed to have a lesser batch where the finish of the tray wasn't perfect. I didn't affect the end result of the brew but was just unpleasant. Communication and support where quick and really good. I'm one happy customer.
